Nathan creates a Cape Breton cultural experience weaving original stories and songs together with Cape Breton classics, some Gaelic song and a few jigs and reels for good measure.

Visit Island Folk Cider House during ECMA Week 2026 for a special spotlight showcase. Featuring performances by: Dali Van Gogh (2026 ECMA Nominees), Stonebrother, Angela Saini, and Nathan Bishop MacDonald. Doors open at 6:30pm with music beginning at 7pm. Admission is $20 at the door, and all proceeds go towards our performers who are all in town for the 2026 ECMAs

"So GRATEFUL to have been at this concert last night. We were blown away by the East Coast music of Lennan Delaney and Nathan Bishop Macdonald last night. Nathan has a voice that is thick with tradition and transports you to rocky cliffs and salty air....could have listened to him sing all day. Our local Lennan (well WOW.....), he is an incredible fiddler and musician who poured his heart into the strings and at moments we were certain his strings would combust. These two created a contagious love for their Cape Breton roots. They have one more show tonight and there are tickets left!!!!!
